I got home and I met my Mom in the living room watching TV all alone and that was because Dad wasn't at home,he travelled.As she saw me in a sober mood,she paused the movie she was watching then walks towards me,I hugged her tight and she hugged me back patting my back with her right hand.I cried on her shoulder and she console me.

"What's wrong honey"she asked and I explained everything that happened to her

"Mom,William will hate me forever."I cried louder.

"Please stop saying nonsense,who told you he's gonna hate you?"Mum said cleaning my face.

"He will hate me."I said again

"He will not hate you."She said

"Are you sure?"I asked

"Yes,I will do anything possible to make him forgive you"she assured

"Really?"

"Yes just stop crying."

"I love you Mum"I said

"I love you too Hun"she paused while I cleaned my face"Now go upstairs,take your shower then come back downstairs to take your dinner."

I went upstairs,took shower and wore my nightie.

Do I really love WILLIAM,I don't really love him,I'm just in love with his wealth and fame.

I pick up my phone to dail Will's number but I don't know what to say,I drop my phone back on the bed then walk downstairs.

"Mum are you going to watch TV all night?"I asked and she smiled.

"No,I'm just waiting for my princess to finish her dinner before going to bed."She said while I just smiled.

"What a sweet Mum."I said

"You can say that again honey."she said as I sat down on the dinning chair then ate my food.

"Are you done with the document I have you yestarday?"I asked Sam

"No,it remains just two pages."Sam said.

"Lazy ass and what are you doing here?" I asked.

"Chill,how far about that Anna,did you forgive her or you've stopped the engagement?"Sam asked.

"Yes I've forgiven her and I can't stop the engagement."I stated,yeah I've forgave her because I don't know how to hate people.

"It's good you forgave her but why can't you stop the engagement."Sam said

"I haven't tell Mum and Dad about what happened that night"I answered

"Why don't you tell them,they might help you stop it."Sam said.

"You know I'm always busy with office work and I can't start a discussion when I had to rest."I explained

"It's good thing you've fall for her"Sam said

"No,I can't fall for her and you know that."I said then a call came through my telephone.

"Hello sir,Miss Anna Jackson said she want to see you."The receptionist said,I don't say anything then I signal Sam to take the telephone.

"Hello sir,are you there?"The receptionist asked.

"He's in his private office right now and you know what that means"Sam lied

"Yes sir,but she it's urgent"the receptionist speaks again.

"Tell her he's busy right now."Sam spat.

"She said she's coming up there."The receptionist said and I found myself hiding under my desk,my desk was covered that no one can see me.Sam giggled and we heard a knock coming from the door.Sam composed himself then went for the door.

"How may I help you?"Sam asked.

"What're you doing in William's office,I thought you are his driver."Anna yelled

"Ma'am if you yell again the security will get here and bound you out,because they haven't see you before and we don't make noise her."Sam lied.

"Try that and I will lock you up."Anna yelled again

"I can see that you haven't change"Sam chuckled and Anna stop yelling,I know that what Sam said will hit her.

"You're not supposed to be in his office."She said not yelling this time around.

"Well,I'm his driver and his personal guard too"Sam played along.

"That doesn't allow you to be here ."She said.

"I'm not here all the time but he let me stay here whenever he's in his private office."Sam lied.

"How long will he be there."She asked

"He always stay long expect ally on Friday ."Sam said

" I will wait then"she said

"It's just past 10 and you'll have to wait till 4pm."Sam said

"Where is the office?"she fired

"Didn't you get it?,it's a private office"Sam fired back.

"You lack manners"

"You can say that again."Sam said while I almost burst out laughing

"Nonsense"she sigh and slam the door on Sam .Sam opened the door then shouted

"Aren't you going to leave a message for him?"I got up from where I was hiding trying to straighten my neck

"She's coming back"Sam screamed and I don't know how I got back under my desk and Sam laugh hard,I peeped and saw Sam laughing then get up.

"You're a fool."I cursed and he laughed

"Why are you hiding for her instead of telling her you don't love her"I heard Sam and he wasn't laughing again.

"She's beautiful but I don't really know why I don't feel anything for her."

"It's because you're not together"Sam said

"And what does that mean"I asked still straighten my neck.

"Maybe if you're together you'll feel something for her"Sam suggested

"You mean I should just get along with their offer?i asked

"Hmmm,let's do it this way"he said

"Which way?"

"I think you should do what they want then after some weeks you realized that you don't still anything for her then you can call for breakup"Sam explained

"That sounds great but...."I was interrupted by my rumbling stomach.

"I think they're laughing at you"Sam said looking at my stomach,we both laugh then head out for lunch

"When will she stop addressing me as your driver"Sam asked sipping from his cup.

"I will talk to her about it today"I said

"Have you been planning on meeting her?"Sam asked

"Not really,I just don't like it when she addresses you as my driver"I said

"Why"

"You're not my driver,you're just my brother from another mother"I said

"Don't tell her today"

"Why"

"Nothing"he said

"Okay,I will tell her at the event"I said

"You've agreed?"

"Yeah,I don't have choice"I said

"Wow,tomorrow is gonna be great"

"Tomorrow?"I asked

"Yeah tomorrow is the day"Sam answered

"You won't believe I have forgotten."

"And we haven't prepare"Sam paused then continued"you got any Idea where the event will be taking place?"he asked

"No ,I will ask mum"

"That's so stupid of you"

"Yeah it's because I'm not interested in it"I said

"But you are....now"

"No,I'm just giving it a trial"I corrected him

"I'm not arguing"he said and we walk back to our office

"Welcome darling"mum greeted

"How was your day?"I asked

" I'm good and you?"

"I'm good also"

"What about Sam"she asked

"He's also good "I answered

"Ok "she said and I noticed the change In her mood

"Mum,what's wrong"I asked

"You know tomorrow is..."

"I know mum"I interrupted

"Did you agree?"she asked

"No,I'm just giving it a trial"

"Thanks sooo much"

"It's okay Mum"I said

"What happened between you and Anna on you date?"she asked

"Nothing"I lied

"Don't lie to me William I know all that happened on that night and It was a mistake"She defended her

"Did she tell you?"I asked

"No her mum did"she answered then I whisper something in her hear and she was shocked.
