"What are you two doing there?" Lycus tried to sound serious when he asked.
Matt and Mateo ignore him and run toward Barbara. Their broad grins and messy hair looked adorable. Matt blinked his innocent eyes, "We were just about to come over and say hi to you."
Their greedy eyes were drawn to the sandwich in her hand. Mateo nods, "Yeah, we saw you had a sandwich, and we were hoping you'd share it."
She couldn't do anything but take the new one from the basket. "Of course, I have plenty to share." She messed up his hair, "Here you go." Then she handed over the sandwich.
They said at the same time, "Thanks, Barbara! You're the best!"
