JORDYN’S POV
“Mother! What is the meaning of this nonsense?” I thundered, my voice echoing vehemently.
My mother turned to face me, her eyes burning with a spiteful intensity that made my blood boil.
“She’s not fit to be the Luna of this pack, Jordyn,” she spat. “Why can’t you see that?”
My face twisted in anger, my heart almost ripping in rage. “Is that why you met with her to threaten her?” I demanded, my voice low and menacing.
My mother moved a step closer. “And I’ll do it again if I have to.” She sneered. “You have to wake up, Jordyn. Being the Luna of this pack is not child’s play, and it can’t simply be bestowed on someone like her.” She said.
