As we broke apart for a moment, gasping for air, he whispered, “Mine, you're mine Britney,” His voice was mild but hoarse.
As I gazed at him, my vision blurred with tears I didn't even know I was shedding.
“What's wrong? Did I hurt you?” Jordyn's brows furrowed, the concern evident in his voice.
I shook my head, trying to speak, but my voice cracked. “W-what would people say?” I stammered, my fear of other's judgment and rejection overwhelming me.
Jordyn's expression darkened, his eye flashing with an unrelenting force. “I don't care what people think!” He growled. “You're my mate, Britney. That's all that matters.”
