All eyes fell on Riley as she walked through the door graciously, she lowered her head stylishly to avoid eye contact with lots of people looking at her.
"Hey, would you like to have a conversation with us?." A lady in her late thirties walked up to her. She nodded, the lady led her to four men who were dressed in tuxedo suits of different colours.
"It's nice to meet you Riley, I am Roy, the top 6 richest business man in the city, my friends and I would love to discuss a big project we planned with you, you would never regret doing this" he assured with a bright smile.
Riley sighed out and forced a smile, she has been trying to get through to Matt but it has not been going through, this saddened her heart and also got her worried.
"It's my pleasure, excuse me for a minute, I need to get a drink before we proceed." They nodded, she walked off heading to the bar.
"She is here." Lisa announced, Liam turned his chair and stood up, then faced Matt. "Wait for my signal." He said and walked away.
On getting to the hall, he saw Riley with a guy having a conversation where she laughed shyly. "Is that her new catch?." He muttered underneath while shaking his head.
Within a twinkle of an eye, another guy bumped into her and quickly dropped a dose of an unknown drug into her wine.
"What could that be?" He questioned himself, he tried moving closer to her when she suddenly held onto her head, the guy he was talking to escorted her outside.
"What is he trying to do?." Liam questioned himself and trailed them out, he saw the two guys trying to force her into the car.
"s**t" he clicked on a button. "Get the car ready and drive it to the main garage." He ordered.
"Hey, leave her alone?" He screamed from behind. The guys turned back, and when they said it was him, they bursted into laughter.
"How the h*ll did they allow you poor guy in here, the security needs to throw you out." The first guy mocked, and waved at two security guards not standing too far from them.
"Throw this fool out of this place, he doesn't deserve to be here."
The guards looked at each other in confusion. "Who allowed you in? This is an occasion for very important personalities, not a lowlife ex live in son-in-law." The first guard mocked further, they all laughed.
"I don't mind taking my leave but they need to release her. Can't you see she is drunk and doesn't know what they are doing to her." He tried to persuade the guards.
The second guy took out two bundles of money and handed it over to them. "Throw him out now." He commanded, instantly, they seized him. The guys quickly adjusted her as she had lost consciousness, then the first guy drove out, just then Liam's car came in.
Two guys came down from the car and bowed to him, the guards opened their mouths out of surprise. "Tie up these two id**ts and torture him until he confess where the other guy is taking Riley to." He dished out instructions, took the keys and drove out.
"What route could he have gone through? I really hope he doesn't do anything funny with her, or else his generation will regret having him as one of them. He swore bitterly, looking at the possible way since he was in the middle of two roads.
He tilted his neck to the left, and saw the car driving out from a street. A smile appeared on his face, he ignited the engine and drove after him.
He kept chasing the guy, luckily his car broke down. He came down from the car and headed towards the car.
"It's nice to meet you again." Liam stretched out his hand for a handshake, the guy wanted to respond to the gesture then he took his hand and squeezed it so hard that a sound was heard. "Arrrgh" he screamed out.
He threw a few punches at him, kicked him off and placed his foot on his chest. "Please spare me, I would never do that again, I am sorry." The guy pleaded to avoid being beaten to death.
Liam scoffed. "I'm not going to forgive you for this" he said, hurried to the car to help Riley to the hospital.
He paced to and fro of the hospital hall, the doctor and nurses were in the ward trying to revive her.
"How dare you hurt my daughter, what did you do to her?." Evelyn yelled on seeing him. He called her earlier to inform her about the situation.
A confused expression appeared on his face. "I wouldn't have called you if I did anything to her, in fact you should be thanking me for rescuing your daughter."
"You think I don't know? After abducting her, Marcus tried to rescue her but you ended up beating the hell out of him, and to avoid being caught you brought her here and pretended not to know anything about it. What sort of a human being are you?." Evelyn narrated as tears rolled down her cheeks.
He stood there looking more surprised as ever. "Who fabricated those lies to you?" He questioned in a harsh tone.
"I did." The guy [Marcus] he had beaten earlier appeared and winked at him. "How could you do such a thing to someone you claim to love, I am highly disappointed in you, I don't think she would be able to forgive you for that." He continued, shook his head in disappointment and smirked at him secretly.
The Williams family showed up looking worried.
"You should have minded your business, the table has turned now and there is no way out of this." Marcus whispered into his ears and laughed softly.
"I need to find a way out of this quickly." He thought, closed his eyes to think of a possible solution.
