I shut my laptop down and heaved a sigh. I almost forgot that i need to get down at the hotel's restaurant for dinner, which is also included in our stay here. I opened my bag and picked a white tweed skirt and a simple chiffon blouse with a ribbon on it at the front then paired it with a 2 inch black heels. My clothes were pretty much old and I never bought anything new for a long time. But fortunately, my old wardrobe mostly consist of natural materials such as wool and tweed so it last longer than other clothes. I grabbed my phone and looked at my self one last time at the closet's mirror before going out and locking the door. I walked slowly to the elevator and entered before pressing ground floor. Since I'm all alone, i decided to remove my ponytail to try to fix it. When the door opened, i was greeted by an attendant. "Hi! Good Evening, can you please tell me which way is the restaurant?" i politely asked him. He smiled and motioned his hands to the left and told me to take several steps and the restaurant would be at my left side. I thanked him and slowly made my way to the dining area where warm smelling food welcomed me. I smell cinnamon and butter when i entered but as i walk by to the buffet, i passed by several deliciously cooked seafoods and meat which made my mouth water. I grabbed a plate and started selecting my food and after that, i sat at a table that is far off the other people and silently began to eat. I was in the middle of eating my dessert when suddenly, i had an idea and series of questions popped in my head. I immediately jot it down on my phone before resuming to finish my food. When i finished eating, i never wasted my time to try and talk or mingle with other people, because well first of all no one wants to talk to me and secondly, i still have to revise my questions so they could fit in more. After the king approved my 'first question', i decided to change some of the other ones that were kind of related or inclined to that question because i feel like if it picked the king's interest, i need to have more questions like that. When i got back at my room, i immediately grabbed my laptop, opened it and started brainstorming all related questions that i can think of. After a while, i started to sort it out. When it was almost nine, i decided to take a rest and call my father again. This time, it was him who picked up the call. "Hey-uhmm, how are you?" There was a long silence on the other line. "Dad? Are you there?" I worriedly asked. "I'm okay, princess. Don't worry." He chuckled. "Why weren't you saying anything?!" I heard him faintly laughed at the other line. "I just miss you. Focus on what you're doing there and stop worrying about me." I sighed. As I look at the clock, even if I still wanted to talk to him, I have to go and check and review everything. Talking to him doesn't pay his hospital bills which keeps him alive. And that is what I need. Him Alive. I bid my goodbye to him as I get dressed again to get down to the coffee just to get something to fuel me. When I got my coffee I then saw a pastry shop across the street just parallel to where the hotel is and I think it looks delicious so even if I am still not hungry, I cross the street to buy some bread so I have something to eat in the room and I never had to go out everytime. As I was walking, I suddenly heard someone called my name and I stopped and looked around to find who it was but unluckily
