Next Day
Tonight is the campout, and luckily the weather will be perfect for staying out all night. Tomorrow's the party, so we need to shop today for snacks, drinks, and other essentials. The living room couches will be pushed against the wall to clear space for dancing.
Avery and I video chatted with Dad yesterday evening, and we even got to see Aunt Mia and Uncle Asher. Dad plans to fly over to see Mom after work and will stay in a hotel until she arrives.
"We have things to do today, people. I'm expecting more guests than last year," Donovan states.
We’ve all had breakfast and are lounging around the house.
"Avalon and I will handle the grocery shopping," Bryce says.
"What? Bu-"
"Okay, it’s Bryce and Avalon on groceries. Here’s the list and the bank card," Donovan
