"Dance is Friday, and Avalon still doesn't have a dress," Avery says as we walk with Mackenzie, Nabila, and Bailey.
"I'm not going," Mackenzie replies. "I have no reason to see Bryce making out with Nina."
"She's going too?" I frown.
Mackenzie nods. "They've been hanging out a lot, haven't they?"
"Since there's no practice, we can go shopping afterward," Avery suggests.
"Aren't you grounded?" Bailey asks.
"Dad thinks we have practice, so we have about two hours to kill, and he wouldn't know the difference," Avery shrugs.
Bailey has been avoiding Luciano lately because he and Elle have been arguing after we told her about him at dinner last Friday. He said he wouldn't break up with her yet and really needed a date for the dance.
