MADISON’S POV
“Are you really sure Elara isn’t pregnant?” I asked Dave, in disbelief. We were still in his lab.
“Yes, based on the results you brought, she isn’t pregnant,” he replied while still looking at Elara’s test results. “None of these results show any sign of pregnancy.”
“So, you mean to say she’s been lying to all of us?” I asked incredulously. “She trapped River with a lie!”
"Yes, it appears that way, but we can't be certain about what happened, so you shouldn't make hasty assumptions."
“River needs to know about this. She can’t lie to him forever. I don’t need to find a way to ruin their trust in each other because what I’ve got is enough to prove she’s deceiving him.” With that, I stood up and grabbed the test results I got from Elara’s OB-Gyne.
