I gasped for air as I lurched from the present memories. “Shiroi!” I shouted, jumping off the mat and running around the small house. I felt lighter than I had ever felt and my limbs felt agile and swift. Almost like when I’m in my wolf form.
I didn’t see any broth this time. Only empty silence.
I ran outside and there I stood, face to face with my wolf. Her beautiful white fur was glowing in the moonlight.
“It’s time to leave now. You are ready.” She said proudly.
I looked around and I knew Shiroi was no longer in human form. She was here, standing strong as my wolf. Our wolf.
“Yes, I am ready. I know my control. I am my own strength. I am loved and I will love. I am a gift earned from the Moon Goddess. I am the White Wolf.” I grinned at her and she bowed to me.
