I could hear a bit of shuffling while I stood helpless, inches from the door, blocking me from my mate and Bryce’s conversation. “Yes, Alpha.” Bryce said, laying on the formalities on quick. I guess Ayden used his alpha tone on him.
Ayden sighed and I felt the tension ease in the room. “Good. Sorry, brother.”
“No, I get it. I will get over it. I cannot get in between you two and I respect both of you more than that. All I want now, is her safety.” Bryce consoled.
“Thank you, Bryce.” I took a deep breath, thanking the stars and goddess that they were so close. I don’t think he would have been as forgiving to anyone else. I would have been in tears if Ayden fought with his brother over me. I wouldn’t even know who to protect at that point. I consider Bryce my friend too
