GAMES PEOPLE PLAY
Daniela was on her own after dropping Rafael at home that night; Blanca was with Carlos again. Rafael might have offered to visit her at home if he knew she was home alone, but she didn’t want him to think she was weak and couldn’t look after herself.
Instead, she preferred to enjoy another of her favourite telenovelas with a long glass of wine. She pulled left-over gazpacho and a tortilla espanola from the fridge, and set them on the table with her first, healthy glass of wine. She needed it tonight.
