INJURY
On her way to the dance studio on Thursday, Daniela stopped at her mother’s house to check on Eva. On opening the door, her mother looked at her strangely. “Daniela, darling. This is a surprise. What brings you by? Don’t you have your dance classes?”
“I do, and I won’t be staying long, Mum. Is Eva here?”
Eva rushed up to Daniela. “We have stuff to talk about, Mum. We’ll be in my room.”
Adriana angled her head and rubbed her hands. “O … kay.”
