A MEMORY
Daniela turned the pages of La Verdadera Noticia until she found Rafael’s article about her dance school. It had been laid out as a full-page feature, with a photo of two of her students in mid-air, followed by their testimonials of how Daniela challenged them towards personal and professional growth. The article went on to describe Daniela’s dance career, the history of the school, her teaching methods, and how she had been devastated by her father’s unexpected death after not seeing him for six years. This led to her remembering again how he’d abused her earlier and had neglected her afterwards.
