Daniel has indeed become more honest recently and there hasn't been any scandalous news about him.
It may be because of Edward's return that he has become more restrained.
It's also possible that Maria has already occupied his heart.
Lily has no way to investigate and doesn’t want to pay any attention.
As long as she doesn't have conflict with Daniel, anything is fine.
Unfortunately, Edward clearly doesn't want to fulfill her wish.
He wants to push her out. Firstly to balance Daniel, and secondly, to ensure Robert's well-being.
She was well aware of his intentions, so she didn't refuse when he arranged for her in Hall Group. Overnight, she became the executive chairman of Hall Group, while Daniel was the executive president.
They may not meet at home, but they can't help but see each other in the company.
Conflict and disagreement were destined from the moment Lily joined the company.
"Being young is great. After spending a few nights together, you can become the executive chairman. You are really savvy."
Daniel smirked and sat directly on her desk, his face filled with sarcasm and ridicule.
Lily was busy familiarizing herself with the information and reports of Hall Group in recent years. She had no time to chat with him.
Anyway, whenever he comes, it's definitely not for a good reason or to say anything good. He's only there to mock and ridicule.
She had long gotten used to it in these four years.
Seeing that she didn't pay attention to him, he became extremely angry. He pressed his hand on her materials and used his other hand to clamp her jaw, exerting a great force which caused her pain.
Lily also smirked and said mockingly, "What's wrong? Are you jealous? Jealous of your own father?"
He sneered and angrily released his hand. He picked up a piece of paper on the desk and wiped his hands vigorously, showing disdain. "I only feel it dirty!"
Lily's anger soared, and unable to bear it any longer. she threw her pen at him and said, "If you feel dirty, then get away! Don't f*****g touch me!"
This was the first time she swore.
After swearing, she felt much relieved.
As if all the grievances and insults she suffered in these four years were released in this curse.
Daniel was stunned for a moment, then suddenly burst into low laughter.
He didn't expect that she would have such a tantrum, which surprised him.
In the past, she was always like a patient ninja.
Seeing her angry and annoyed, he whistled and leisurely left the office.
Just when she was about to pack up and leave work, he came again, and this time he deliberately changing his outfit.
According to Secretary Wendy, Maria had come to find him in the afternoon, probably doing something intimate.
Lily laughed coldly and muttered, "Stallion."
Unfortunately, Daniel's ears were sharp enough to hear it.
"You've learned a lot of foul language, why not say it out loud if you have the balls?" Daniel smirked and stared at her while she packed her things.
"Stallion!"
She repeated without politeness, this time with a loud and resonant voice that could echo for a long time.
After organizing the files on the table and putting her phone in her bag, she picked up her bag and intended to leave.
However, he blocked her way. "The so-called stallion is someone who goes after any woman he sees."
He evilly narrowed his eyes and lifted her chin, "And you are a woman too."
Lily smiled flirtatiously, pushed his hand away, and replied sarcastically, "Then Mr. Hall, why don't you try me? Show me the power of a stallion!"
Lily bet that he wouldn't dare and didn't want to.
Because he thought her dirty!
He raised his eyebrows and narrowed his eyes dangerously.
A woman dares to provoke me?
Very well!
Soon, Lily regretted it.
She should have restrained herself and pretended to be a coward.
But at that moment, she chose to be stubborn, which angered him, a beast to be reckoned with.
He grabbed her wrist and forcefully took her to the underground parking lot, saying something about having to attend a social event.
"Don't think your position is easy to obtain. There is a price to pay."
He was clearly seeking revenge.
The imported Ferrari speed along the road. When they stopped, Lily hadn't even had time to steady herself and her stomach churned.
But Daniel disregarded her feelings and dragged her to the most luxurious club in L.A.
They entered a luxurious private room where voices were noisy, lights were dim, and vulgar music filled the air.
Lily instinctively turned to escape, but she was forcibly pushed into the room by Daniel, ending up sprawled on the luxurious leather chair in a miserable state. "Mr. Hall, who is she?" Mr. Lee from the Lee Group looked at the woman next to him in confusion, and his eyes fixed on Lily's exposed thighs with a greedy gaze.
