Aria pulled back from the long hug and noticed that Thaila's eyes were moistened. "Thaila. You have no clue how much I have missed you!" she said, smiling genuinely and all Thalia could see was a younger version of her sister giving her a toothy smile.
"I missed you too" Thalia breathed.
A moment of silence captured the atmosphere as both of them looked at the clear blue water that had a green tinge at the ends. "Why did you never contact me?" Aria asked, not being able to keep quiet anymore. She had so many questions in mind and Thaila would have to answer them all today.
"I tried."
Aria scoffed. "Tried? Both of us know that if you would have tried, you eaily could have contacted me to. You chose not to."
