I slowly opened my eyes as I woke up from sleep. My entire body felt tired and sore. I was quite certain I could not lift a finger after all that happened last night.
"You are awake." It was Grayson's voice that I heard first in the morning. Low and sweet.
"Hmm" Was all I could give for a response as I saw him through my still not very clear sight.
He walked over to me with a smile on his face, sat on the bed and kissed my forehead.
"Good morning" I managed to mumble to him tiredly.
"Morning? It's 1pm, darling" He chuckled and my eyes widened in total surprise.
