The words rang in my head as Grayson walked away, his eyes fixated on me for a couple more seconds before he looked away.
I let out a sigh of... Was it relief?... and then my gaze fell to Luxuria.
"Come over here, Daisy..."
I was about to protest that when Luxuria added. "And don't argue. I've only got two minutes with you. We aren't wasting it on arguing."
I sighed again before rising up to my feet. He was quite right. It was just two minutes and we were just going to talk in those two minutes and if, by any chance something happens, Grayson would be here in two minutes and whatever happens would stop.
I walked over to Luxuria and sat by his side.
"Princess" His voice was deep and gentle as he reached for my hands, gently holding them in his.
I sucked in a shaky breath
