I sit here day in and day out with gloves on waiting for him to open his eyes. I am careful not to touch him in fear of what Rachael said. How could they know I was a healer? My brain is full of mixed messages and I am trying to sort them out. I have not let Kali out in a week, since this all happened because I have not left Declan’s side.
