"Ouch," It seems that I have become a little rusty with my teleportation. Nevertheless, where am I? This appears to be the closest gateway I could pick up to the Patala(the realm of the underworld ).
Wait there is some text on a sign it says," Swaminarayan Mandir temple (Toronto )". What, how did I end up in Toronto! Did these mortals move my tree from India to Toronto, how is that even possible they must have developed new means of transport, or could they have discovered how to use teleportation while I was gone? No no, the gods would never allow mortals to know how to use it, it would just create havoc and well that is my duty.
Ahh but it is so lame that I had to be released, I mean I was having such a good time in the Patala. Laying on my diamond bed staring at pure darkness with that fresh lavender fragrance filling the air and my servants playing their hypnotizing flute music while I beat those other wretched demon maidens at Chaturanga. But I guess now I get to help my fellow demon friends from the city of Naraka(Hindu hell). I mean from what I can recall the city of Naraka is where the demons suffer eternal punishment from Vasuki (Snake God )for the sin they committed. Hectic, I am glad my judgment was not that harsh.
The Chedipe(witch) started walking around the huge white temple looking for a key. (Every temple has an artifact or statue that acts as a key to the Patala ). Eventually, she was led inside where she started walking on the polished marble floor and looking at the engravings on the white marbled pillars. Eventually, she ended up at the statue of Vasuki.
Ahh, here it is the key to the underworld. Here goes "खुला हुआ " (khula Hua ->It means open). Suddenly the statue started to glow and slowly dark puffy black clouds filled the room. They started moving around faster and faster creating a portal that was ellipse-shaped and filling the room with thunder echoes that reverberated throughout the temple as well as fill it with the scent of peanut butter and oranges. But before the Chedipe could step in, it vanished.
Agh, I don't think I have enough chakra to keep the portal open and retrieve my friends. I might have to gather more before I can do that, my power is not what it once was. Looks like I will have to feed on more mortals before I can gather enough energy to bring them back to life.
Suddenly an old Indian man with a white beard humming a prayer walked into the room.
The Chidepe looked at him and once again gave that cunning smiled. She then tapped her ring with her bony fingers until it started to emit an orange glow. Slowly she then started to metamorphize into a tiger.
It had glowing Amber eyes, Razor sharp teeth that could easily rip through human flesh like a pretzel, and muscles that rippled as the tiger walked.
The man had still not noticed the tiger, he was too focused on his song. So, the tiger slowly crouched behind one of the pillars waiting for him to come closer while dangling its tail. Eventually, the man came closer enough for the tiger to pounce on him. When the man saw the tiger it was too late, its amber eyes were already staring at him eye to eye while he laid on the tiled floor pinned to the floor by the weight of the tiger.
"Help, someone there is a ..." he screamed but before he could finish his sentence the tiger had already started to eat its victim.
