Matt’s stomach tightened with anxiety as he watched Josh watch Emma out of the corner of his eye. He knew without a doubt that Josh would try to take Emma from him. Josh had done it before, but the anxiety was only linked to how Josh would taunt him by flaunting his attempts. Emma wasn’t Natalie, and this wasn’t high school anymore.
