Nervous, stressed, scared and every other word I could think of was embracing my whole body as we drove to my parents house. I felt Valerio’s warm hands on mine. "Don't worry. It's gonna be alright. You will be fine" He assured. Yet, I was far from calm. I was eager to see them at the same time nervous whether they will embrace me with open arms.
The car came to a halt in front of a medium sized building. Valerio stepped out first and unlocked the car for me.
I stared at the building in front of me before taking in a deep breath. "Shall we?" Valerio said pushing his hand forward. I placed mine on his and we stepped forward inside the house. The way we’ve been cool with each other for the past few days. It’s as if we haven’t fought with each other before.
