Eloise decided to join Rosa in the kitchen. The two women of different ages busied themselves with cooking lunch, as it would be lunchtime soon.
The sun was shining brightly today. Thankfully, everything had gone smoothly up until this point. Liam finally left the house, going somewhere after joining Rosa and Eager in the kitchen earlier.
Simon was still sitting in the living room, occupying the available sofa, until Eager's presence distracted him.
The young man stood at the threshold of the room, keeping his eyes on Simon as he engaged the man in conversation.
"How about a smoke in the back garden?" offered Eager, indicating a cigarette case with a lighter.
Simon didn't have to think long. The man immediately got up, giving a small nod. "Come on."
