Chapter 39
Shane had been taking L.J everywhere she could possibly think of. He took her to all the places she loved, and to new places that she started to love. They made jokes and laughed and ate ice cream at her favorite shop on the one corner of the beach, looking out at the waves, as they tried not to let it drip due to the hot sunny weather. The sun started to set as Shane drove them to the last location on his eventful day out with L.J.
"Where are we going?" L.J asked over the music as she turned down the radio and looked at Shane with her head resting on the seat head rest behind her. He chuckles as he shakes his head and turns it to her, giving her a quick glance.
"For the thousandth time, I am not going to tell you" He says, and she sighs, leaning a bit closer to him gripping
