Days passed as L.J stayed in her bed, not going to school, not getting up to eat, barely sleeping and hardly keeping sane. All she did was lie in bed and think about how she and the boys had their first real fight. Of course, Lara-Jean and the boys have had fights before, but those were about petty things like who would sit in the front seat, or they would fight about who got the last cupcake on the plate after dinner. They never had a real fight and it scared L.J to think that maybe they will never recover from this. No matter how many times L.J tried dialing their numbers, it was like her thumb wouldn't let her press down on it. It did scare her that maybe their friendship would suffer from this, but she also felt mad at them for not opening up about whatever was bothering them.
