Chapter 6

I can feel someone shaking me out of my precious sleep. Yester when i come home, or to say today morning it was alredy 2am, plus while i got ready for bed it took me time. So here Im, exhausted like always. Thats why its saturday and usually i sleep till 12, but someone whants to loose his hands as that person is still shaking me.

“What!” I just shout at Liam, who just jums in my bed next to me.

“Sis I’ve been standing here for past 5 minutes, you have so much to explain, but dad made me walk up here to wake you up from the sleep to join the breakfast.” I just look at my phone on the side table next to my bed, it says freaking 8 in the morning.

“Well can you like leave my room so I can get ready?”

He just get up from my bed before exiting my room “ you know you have 5 minutes as you took rest to get your eyes open, you know its dad and he looks serious so in your place i would be on time if you dont want to have problems”

With that he exits my room, as i make my way to bathroom to brush my teeth. Im wearing my pjs , as fast as I can make my towards closet, i pick up my running shorts and some hoodie as it looks cold outside wearing just some sport b*a underneath and i make my way down to the dinner room just to come face to face what ever coming my way.

As i eneter dining room “morning” thats only thing im saying as im scared i will say too much. I look over dad who has this frown on his face, i know he is not happy well who cares right i just take my seat next to Liam, i look at mom who looks sad.

“Well Morning to you to princess, as you see you are late, and we need to talk about your yesterday attitude, but for know lets enjoy breakfast as we need to prepare afterwards for our guests.” Dad said everything in such a tone like there is no place for discussion, no one said a word futher, i grab some cup of coffee and croissant i put some nuttela in and just keep eating. Im almost done when he starts speaking “as everyone knows, today are coming important guests. We are having mergers between pur company and his. From our part to stay in business Leila will marry Mr. Black” i just look at him and roll my eyes, he mever seen my attitude like this, i always have respected the man himself, but how can i do it know when he is signing me away like some bag of potato’s. “Today everyone need to behave including you Leila, as your new attitude not going to change nothing, my and your mother have prepared you some dress. Liam you and Maikl need to wear a suit, this is really important guys. At this dinner Leila you will meet you fiancé plus we will discuss terms of the marriage and everything what will hapen in these three months from now.” Maikl is my littlr brother if you wondering, I cant even say nothing to him I just nod. I need to get out of this house beffore dinner even starts. As i get up from table “if you guys excuse me im going for my morning run” i dont even wait for answer as i bolt out of the room down the road to the lake side. I stop for a moment next to lake where is little opening, its like little bridge up the lake side, i stop there and call Brad.

“Hi Brad, can you meet me in usual place as soon as possible im alredy here? “

“ Babe, i was soo worried, im coming now, I see you in 10!” I just sit down and wait for him to come, i can hear car park near the plce and someone coming I don’t even need to look back to check i know its him, we been in this place multiple time. Its place were he asked me to be his girlfriend, the place were we shared the first kiss. This is the place almost exactly in front of the huse, only thing whats saparates us is the lake.

“Leila whats wrong?” He just takes the seat next to me as i look his way i can feel my eyes got tears in them. Breath Leila, you can’t cry just yet “Brad we need to talk, but I want you to promise me that you not going to chenge being my friend and most important not going to change your attitude towards Liam, as he doesn’t even know about this!” I said it so fast in one breath, he just take mu hands and i look up him, “ babe you are scaring me, tell me what happened, you been behaving strange since yesterday.”i just can see trough his eyes that he cares about me, “Brad we need to break up”

“We need to do what?” He almost shouted at me.

“Listen I love you, you know that. But this love is like love for best friend. I dont feel the smark anymore and i havent felt it for a while.” I just look down i feel him taking his hands back and getting up and taking his steps to the corner of the lake.

“Is this because of you so called marriage arrangement, we can still be together just hide it from everyone” i walk up to him, just standing close to him watching the lake,just not too close “listen Brad, it’s nothing to do with the marriage. I just don’t want to lead you on, you are going anyway to the university across the country to play and i dont even know what I will do. But thats not the reason, I just do t love you like you love me anymore, its for the best.” I just look in his eyes i can see a tears going down his cheeks. I just take them away with my thumbs. As i keep speaking “look you will find someone who will love you without a doubt in mind. I still need to figure myself out.” He just wrapped his urms around me, “promise me Leila one thing”. I look up him still in his arms “anything”

“Do anything you need to do, get out of that marriage as soon as possible and do me favour. Find your happiness.”
