Drunken mistakes

Lily giggled as she looked towards her brother who started to tickle her side as he tried to reach the last piece of pizza in her plate. "You can't have it, Tiberius! It's mine!" Tiberius laughed, giving up as he stepped away from his sister and settled down on the sofa next to her. "I'm going out tonight so don't wait up." Lily's happy mode immediately disappeared as she placed her pizza back in her plate, suddenly losing her appetite. "You're not going to be out late like last time, right?" "I just have something to take care off, don't worry about me." "I have too, last time you came back someone stabbed you in your leg and you were high." Tiberius sighed, rubbing a hand over his face as he looked down at his watch and leaned over, laying a kiss on Lily's cheek and he stood up. "I love you." Lily bit her lip as she look up at her brother, "That sounds like a goodbye." Tiberius gave his sister a smile, choosing to ignore what she said as he walked past her into the hallway and out of the front door. Lily slumped in her seat as she looked around the quiet house. Her dad wouldn't be home for days, his on a business trip that he was supposed to come back from a week ago. He extended the trip, more work the better, Lily mocked. It had been his catch phrase ever since his wife left him. Lily stood up and walked towards her bedroom, hiding herself as a bad feeling about tonight settled in her stomach. ^^^  Three hours later, at midnight. The house phone wouldn't stop ringing, bringing Lily from her sleep as she stood up and ran toward it. She picked it up, her heart slipping a beat as the worried voice of Tiberius's best friend travelled through, "Lily?" "James? Please tell me his okay." "He's drunk and he's starting to pick fights, you need to come fetch him. I can't drop him." Lily hang up the phone, pulling a coat over her as she raced out the door, her car keys in her hands as she drove towards James's house. She quickly parked the car, racing inside the house where she found Tiberius being beat up by some of the big kids at the party. James tried pulling the huge dude off from his best friend but it wasn't helping. She raced towards him and without thinking she ran towards the big kid, leaping off the floor and onto him. Knocking him down from the unexpected weight. She quickly stood up, pulled Tiberius from the floor as she dragged him towards her car and pushed him in. Tiberius turned to her, his lip was bleeding and his nose but he didn't look to bad. He's eyes widened as he saw his sister, "What are you doing here?" He asked her, causing a harsh glare to be sent his way. "Saving you! You always do this! You're always drunk and high! You're my older brother, you're supposed to be looking after me! Not the other way around!" Lily turned to her brother who slumped in his seat. "I can't handle it! The constant worrying if you're okay! If I'm going to see you again!" Tiberius turned to Lily but his eyes widened at the headlights coming towards them, "Lily!" Lily's head snapped forward, her eyes widening as she saw the speed of the car. She turned the car away from going directly towards it as she leaned over, opened Tiberius door and pushed him out. He screamed, as he fell from the car and as Lily moved to take a hold of the wheel, she felt herself moving forward and before she could scream. She felt something crushing against her until she screamed in pain and then everything went black as she felt her breathing started to slow down. ^^^ Kade took down another shot, smiling as he received praise from his friends behind him. He turned around and smiled towards Philip who looked at him with a worried expression as he watched his friend drown shot after shot. Kade ignored his friend's warnings as he stood up from his stool and let out a huge snort as he wobbled a bit before he was pushed into the crowd and into the arms of a girl who giggled as he pulled her around the dance floor. He knew he'd regret it in the morning but he couldn't stop as a red cup was placed in his hand and placed against his lips. He needed to forget, even if it was just for a few hours. He didn't want to go home, he didn't want to remember him. Especially when his father was there. He couldn't look at his mother without picturing her face the minute his dad walked through that door. He was disgusted, he hated that his mother still loved the man after what he did. Shaking his head, he smiled down at the girl wrapped around his waist as she swayed to the music that seemed to be deaf to his ears. All he heard was the buzz of the music and he went with it. He was too drunk to care if he was off beat with the music. He dropped the empty cup to floor and untangled himself from the girl and walked toward the bar where he found a two red cups and picked up the two and walked towards the back door of the house party and settled down on her steps. He placed the cups next to him and drowned the first one before he drowned the second. He was about to get up when he felt a hand on his shoulder and he looked up to see Philip looking down at him with a scowl. "Don't." Was all Kade said before he looked towards his feet. "Did he come back?" Philip asked, causing Kade to looked towards him. Kade never had to explain much to his friend, Philip had always been observant when it came to to Kade and he had figured something must have gone really wrong for Kade to want to forget this much. Kade nodded his head before he looked up at the sky as he heavily sighed, "He’ll always comes back and I know he's going to leave again." Philip patted Kade's back, "Stay here, I'm going to get my keys." Kade nodded and watched Philip stand up, turn away and walk inside. He sat still, for a solid five minutes before looking around, wondering why he was sitting alone outside. He stood up and went running to the front of the house where on the boys in his English class, passed him a half full vodka bottle. Kade smirked, bring the glass to his lips and chuckling it down as he walked towards his car. He pulled it open, not even concerned with the fact that he had forgotten to lock it. He sat down, still chuckling as he started the car and pulled off onto the rode. He didn't know how long he had been driving, all he heard was the light buzz of his radio, playing the weekend mixes and the vodka bottle that was still in his hand. He was lost. He didn't know where he was going but he kept driving. Looking down at the vodka bottle, he smirked. Raising it to his lips and took down the last few bumps before throwing the glass to the back of his car and he turned forward. He could barely see the car he was coming towards through his blurry vision but it was enough for his eyes to widen and his hands to grip his steering wheel and dramatically turn the steering wheel that his car twirled around before landing still on the field across from the rode. He was no longer in his car, he laid a few meters away from it and he laid down. Breathing heavily as he smiled to himself, he almost f****d up. He looked up, thanking god he was okay only for his heart to drop as he turned around to see another car behind him knocked into a tree a few meters away from him. He walked towards it to see a boy, maybe three years older then him past out. Kade ran towards him, checking his pulse to sigh at he found a steady heart beat. The boy had a cut in his forehead and temple that bleed but it didn't look to bad. Kade was received until the boy opened his eyes. He sat up and looked around, his eyes wide with panic, "My sister." He whispered. Not loud enough for Kade to hear until the boy turned to him, grabbing his arms and shaking him, "Where's my sister?!" Kade jumped back in shock as the boy’s loud voice rang in his ears and he stood up, helping the other boy as he turned to him, "I didn't see her." The boy looked towards him before it travelled to something behind his back and he hunched over. Throwing up everything he ate before he started crying and Kade felt his blood run cold. He slowly turned around for his face to pale and his heart to drop it his stomach. There was the boy's sister. Laying on the hood of the car after crashing through the wind shield. Her pale face was covered in her jet black hair, her petite body to small to have survived that crash and Kade leaned forward, wanting to throw up as he looked towards her blood dripping down the car as it disappeared into the grass. One thought going through his mind as he looked towards her, I did this to her.
