Cora summoned me to her chamber. The servant said she needs to talk to me. It's still very early in the morning. Marcus was still sleeping in our bed when I sneaked to go to my mother in law's chamber.
The female servant accompanied me. She looks translucent just like the other servants around. I can't help but keep looking at her. I haven't seen anything like her from the human realm.
"I'm sorry but I have to ask, what are you?" I asked, feeling foolish about myself. We're walking from the hallway and taking the moving stairs that function as an elevator. It goes up and down depending on where you want to go.
