Chapter 12: A New Threat

After their success in protecting the town from the bandits, Jack and his team returned to the new civilization. They were welcomed back as heroes, and the people praised them for their bravery.

As they rested and recovered from the battle, Jack received a new message. This time, it was from a different source - an old mentor who had taught him the ways of combat and survival.

The message was grim. It spoke of a new threat that had arisen in the region, one that was more dangerous than anything they had faced before. The mentor had gathered some intel and discovered that a powerful warlord had taken control of a nearby city, and was amassing an army of ruthless mercenaries.
