The Last Hope

Chapter 3: The Aftermath

Jack and his team emerged from the warlords' stronghold, battered and bruised but victorious. They had managed to retrieve the valuable resource that could help humanity survive the virus, and they knew that they had made a significant impact on the post-apocalyptic world.

But the victory came at a cost. Several members of the group had been injured during the battle, and they were now in desperate need of medical attention. Jack knew that they needed to find a safe place to regroup and tend to their wounds.

They decided to head for a nearby abandoned hospital, hoping that they would be able to find some medical supplies there.
