I was ecstatic at what I was hearing. My heart was fluttering, my cheeks red, and a permanent smile plastered on my face...but something held me back... I paused, slightly, biting my lip hard before revealing my fear...
“Trust me, you don’t want to date me. . .I have way too much baggage..” I said, full of mixed emotions. I wanted nothing more than to be his girlfriend. He was everything anyone could ever want in a partner....and he wanted me, of all people.
