Getting back to the house, we walked through the front door to see everyone going about their business as usual. Michelle, Molly, and Myrna were in the kitchen as Zeb and Blake were seated in the living room. The second we were in sight, they stopped and stared in our direction, watching us attentively, as if they knew what we were about to announce.
"How did it go? Was dinner absolutely fabulous? I adore that place," Michelle said, reminiscing as I smiled ear to ear, holding up my hand to show her the diamond ring now taking resident on my ring finger.
