Chapter 21
*Dawson's POV*
Going back to school without Harper was painful, but necessary. She needed at least one more day to heal before coming back to get all of her missing work before we left for good. I would rather be home with her, but I knew I needed to get all the work I missed. We planned on finishing out the week before transferring to my old school in New York. I knew I had to make a point to tell my friends about the move today. The sooner, the better.
I met up with my usual group before school. They all bombarded me with questions about how Harper was doing, and I didn't expect anything less. I actually appreciated it.
