Sitting in English class, I let all my thoughts and worries cloud around my eyes, making it difficult to focus. Twiddling my thumbs underneath my desk, I'm nervous in anticipation as to what Cole will want in exchange for his silence and I wonder when he will come to collect... I don’t know what it is, but I’m sure I’ll regret agreeing to it. . .This is my favorite class of the day and yet I can't seem to enjoy a single moment of it, all because of Cole. I wish I could distance myself from him, but it makes it quite difficult when he is around all the time..
I was taken out of my thoughts when Dawson passed me a note, asking about my meeting with the principal. I shrugged and let him know it went fine. It was the interaction with Cole that had me more worried than anything
