Kat hit the ground running the next day, pushing her personal conflict to one side. Dreams, fantasies—they had to wait.
Nothing could or would happen as long as the Majestic kept bleeding money. She'd come to New Orleans to rebuild the hotel, and she'd be damned if she didn't do her best. Any personal desires or decisions about Cole or Julien would have to wait until she at least had set events in motion for a successful reopening.
