"Then you press this." Julien tapped the computer screen. "See?"
The young desk clerk nodded, her eyes glazing over. He'd spent the better part of the last hour showing her the new check-in system, the newest addition to the Majestic.
"Don't worry. You'll get it when we start taking in new customers," he reassured the woman. "It's going to make our lives a whole lot easier." Silently he sent thanks to McMaster Industries for approving the upgrade from the sluggish, archaic computer system they'd been dealing with before.
He frowned as the black sedan pulled up to the front of the hotel and sat there, idling.
