The last howl faded into the night, but nobody moved.
Ava stood beside Ethan while the royal warriors tightened their formation around them. The entire upper floor of Greyhaven now blazed with light, even though Helena had said that part of the building hadn’t had power in twenty years.
Another howl rose from somewhere below the ground.
