The Untold Adventure

How it began

This was precisely the nature of the business Samuel was into, it had become a family business with exception of his father who was into another business, and his brother had changed earlier for a better and less stressful one with more income. Samuel originated from a family called the Obienu family. Of course, they weren't that much of a big family, The families main base wasn't located in a famous city, The family main root was a rural area in Anambra state, Samuel's dad had relocated to the city for greener pastures.

Samuel, being a child who aspired to make a difference in a stiff world like ours wasn't a rarely seen genius, but his ability to look at things differently made him a rare gem to find during this times where the world seemed to have developed it's own setting, and those who acted out of it setting were either considered weird or stupid, This attribute of his was a gigantic strength of his, but it also served as a great weakness he possessed. He was often seen as a fool sometimes and weird sometimes due to this feature he possessed.

From the moment of his birth, He had been showered a lot of prophecies and speculations about his future, but they didn't make him proud or arrogant, instead it gave him quite a bit of worry. The prophecies seemed to go in different ways, some claiming he was going to be a pastor, some priest, and some just said he was going to be a great servant of God. His worry didn't stem from his unwillingness of the prophecies, as he was more than willing, but it was rooted from a few things, Firstly, He had been through some embracing situations in his life, example was when he wrote his common entrance and failed. Samuel was the sixth best student in his class, and so even though he wrote it at an earlier class, he was expected to at least meet the cut off mark, but it didn't work that way, and he ended up with a 68 out of 100, While the cut off was 75 marks, The most painful thing was that the information that he was writing the exam had already been distributed, so the amount of shame he faced at that moment was not easily seen. He feared that such thing might repeat itself with this prophecies and so since the exam he had become wary.

The second was that he might not be able to achieve other dreams of his due to the prophecies, it wasn't that he didn't like the what the prophecies entailed, but it was that there was a lot he wished to do, Things like traveling to every nuke and cranny of the world, Making his name become a tangible and respected name through out the world not only through his service to God but also through things he believed to be his talents, He was quite adept in story writing and he also had a real good voice, He wished to make good use of this talents of his in all aspect.

He felt it was outdated and was beginning to have lesser and lesser effect, he wanted a new way that will be something that will yield more result and have his name tagged to it's founder origin, he had always dreamed of being such a legend that will be remembered even after death for a long while.

There happened to be quite a lot Samuel hoped to achieve, Apart from story writing, he also had this love for a few other arts and wished to achieve big things in them. And he happened to be one of those eccentrics who wished to visit every nuke and cranny of the world of the living and experience it's wonders for himself, A see it all dream, it was called. All this added up birthed a will that wished to find a different way that would lead to the achievement of all his dreams and ambition, But he also understood that if the normal way of spreading the gospel was God's will for him, then he had no right to decline as it was his God and Creator's will.

Due to certain worrying occurrences in Samuel life, and to add the fact that he was a last born of his parent, Samuel had been pampered to a reasonable level since his birth, The rod had been spared a lot on him, and he would only end up receiving yells. But it wasn't the same for his siblings, The rod wasn't spared as much as it was on him, Actions like this of course didn't really sit well with his siblings as overly showing love to him him caused his siblings to feel sad and uncomfortable, and they couldn't really be blamed for that as an undisputable fact is that they to were kids and deserved equal amount of love, but neither could the parent either, as there were reasons while they became like that.

The main reason for their parent love was rooted from the fear they got after they experienced the circumstances surrounding Samuel's birth, a lot of things happened to him before, during and after birth and this constant things caused fear to be birthed in his parent heart, Humans are bound to hold tight something precious they are likely to lose than other precious things because inwardly, they feel that the others would always be there, while the one lost is lost for good, and so they clunked tightly to the one likely to be lost.

Due to the pressures, Samuel grew up to be a meek and cowardly boy and was frequently being bullied by his peers, he also happened to be quite fat, and this earned him one of his early nicknames, which turned out to become one of the stains in his life, he was constantly mocked and insulted due to his size.

At some point Samuel seemed to have developed a mental issue unknown to his parent, He felt this distrust towards everyone, He slowly became an introvert, not that it was a bad thing, but being overly introverted was real bad.

Samuel had been able to manage himself for a while, he was still quite okay until he and his brother ended up attending the same school in his secondary school class one.

It was in the school that all the consequences of his problem seemed to have finally caught up with him.

He became the scape goat the teacher always uses when they want to talk about something bad and need someone to refer to. He became the perfect definition of a black sheep of the family and the love and care of his parents turned into anger and disappointment. His life kept slipping into a dark side slowly without lot of people noticing. It wasn't that his parent love for him had turned into hate, but that they too just had too many problems consigning finances to face, and so they had no time to notice what was going on, and so he was left all alone in his predicament.
