Midnight was sitting on the couch, a little out of it, as he usually was with Royal on his left, Jamie and Isaiah on his right, and all four of them stared at the twins, who seemed a little uncomfortable with the attention that was currently on them. Kayla looked around the lounge space, the deep green walls, the dark couches, the glass features, the massive screen television Ash had been hell bent on getting the moment he laid his eyes on it, and she forced a small smile as she cleared her throat a little. “You have a lovely home.”
“None of us live here,” Isaiah deadpanned, not bothering to expand on such a ridiculous statement that seemed horrible out of context, but with the look on their faces, Royal burst out laughing, and as silly as it was, so did he.
