Had been discharged yesterday, and he was glad to have been home for the party; he hadn’t expected how much pain he would have genuinely been in. And with a heavy heart, he had to skip. The heat, chatter, and noise from the music were not a good combination with his already pounding head and lethargic body, which was on a very fine thread, and so he had decided to spend the night alone in his room.
