Soren was exhausted, and that was quite the understatement; every single bone of his was aching. The dull thud in his head hadn’t been soothed with the painkillers he had been taking every four hours since the morning; he was sure it was simply because his body wasn’t used to working so much, and Aunt Olivia had not been kidding for some reason.
