The control panel in front of him became blurrier by the second. Then a glowing green panel with a flashing palm sign appeared. He might have been imagining it, but he thought the text below it said, “Connect to the power of eight towers.”
Without hesitation, he hit it with his right palm.
An ocean of energy flew into him from behind his head. His vision cleared up. In the reflection on the glass wall, he could see his key stone spinning and a glowing funnel of energy pouring down on him. He glanced at the Sciphils screens outside and saw all of them standing in front of their control panels.
The ground shook. The district screens showed a chain of blasts from every protective shield. Creature’s bodies were blown into pieces.
