Chapter 29 Madeline glanced outside and saw the army of half-animal, half-robotic creatures approaching Ciaran. It looked as if someone had been trying to create super soldiers, but it hadn’t quite worked out as planned. Apart from being super big and ugly, they didn’t seem to be able to do much. Tadgh sat up groggily on the ground. Madeline opened the capsule door and yelled, “Ciaran, can you grab Tadgh and run to the capsule?” Jo was still at the control panel, adjusting the mirror so that it beamed the light onto the moving army. “I can shoot at them.
