A long while later, Ciaran, Tadgh, Zach, and Dan approached the exit zone of the Daimon Gate. Ciaran remembered it vividly from when they had passed the tests weeks ago. When Bran had tried to exit the gate after asking Ciaran to steal data from the EYE, the exit zone had been a dark dome with gothic arches and dimensional traps everywhere. Depending on the purpose of the passengers, the exits appeared at different locations and took different forms. Ciaran suspected that the EYE’s sensor keyed in on emotional cues, reading whatever aura a passenger was emitting at that particular moment.
