CHAPTER 5: A birth of vengeance.

Robert enjoyed watching the news of the criminals assassination with a bright mood sitting on his sofa  .He really is a fighting legend . Meanwhile , Catherine's father was in extreme exasperated mood after a message from Robert through his hired injured gangster and the death of the other three made him fury . Catherine was confused to see her father in a bad mood glaring from upstairs .She went down to ask her dad  the matter that made him fury ."dad .Those people in the news  who were murdered  was the wanted criminals of our town .It's a good news .But why are you venting your anger? " she asked him curiously .Her father was left stunned to answer ,for he cannot reveal his wicked plans to her so he made up some coating of lies . "haha! Cath dear , I'm happy they're dead .But that unknown person who assassinated them is also not a kind one .That's why I'm worried for letting that mafia escape without a glue ." He had to cover up his filthy actions in front of his daughter with a stumbling voice which made Catherine notice a doubt . "Whoever it might be ,  I'm happy that person killed those roguish wanted criminals " answered Catherine and went up to her room .A message popped up on her cellphone from Robert's office informing she got through her interview and to attend the office from the next two days .She was exhilarated to know that and jumped around  her room with excitement . She informed her friends about her merry success and planned to go for shopping that night . Catherine ran down to her parents and informed about her successful interview ." Mommy ! Daddy ! I got through . I'll be a journalist from tomorrow ! Yahoo! " .Her parents was not happy as she was.... since Robert's company is their attempt  ,but Catherine dosen't care for their opinion ,and choose to stick to her dream . That evening , Robert was out for jogging looking irresistibly cool with his headphones on since every outfit fits perfectly to his handsome  tall and slim body . Catherine also honked off on her car with a fine dress to shopping .It was already getting dark and both of them was returning to their homes from different directions . Catherine suddenly got tensed about her parent's dubious behavior since the last few days worrying they're plotting something bad for she knows her parents well and forgot to focus on her driving .Robert was walking to his home after a light jogging , and saw a car speeding up at him . It was Catherine who broke off the brake and was screaming hard for a rescue but lucky enough there were less  vehicles , to which she would've gotten into an awful accident ..Robert stood there planning for a way to rescue ,and asked someone's car to stop Catherine's danger .The owner refused ,but he took it off leaving the owner devastated to spoil his car . Robert speed up next to Catherine's car with a broken brake and pushed it to the corner of the road stopping it from crushing with another car . She injured her head ,but still screamed out of horror . All the parts of both their cars was crashed and the owner ran to Robert for asking  a repay in a fury mood  " hey ! Give back my car like it was before ! I won't let you slip off without a repay  . Oh my car! " He was weeping after seeing the condition of his broken car . Robert sighed glaring at him " I hate to see men cry over silly stuffs . Here ,give me your  account number .I'll pay you right away ,but please stay out from my sight after that ."  Rich Robert compensate him with huge amount more than the cost of his car through his card  leaving him happy after receiving the amount from Robert . The crowds gathered ,but Robert asked them to get away from the scene and Catherine was there feeling sorry for him with a teary eyed inside her broken car ."I'm getting more embarrassed to him day by day .ahhh! How can I face him !? "  thought Catherine. Robert lend his hand to help her out from the car smirking at her like nothing happened  "come , grab my hand . Now who's leech between us? I hope you realized it's you?" Started to tease her again .But instead of getting angry, Catherine was thankful to him for rescuing her life from the touch of death "thank you ! I thought tonight would be the date of my deathbed but thank you so much for saving me! and .... I'm so sorry for the trouble ." Her head was bleeding ,but Robert took her out and contacted his bodyguards to bring his car to their location . Her belt on the dress was broken leaving it get blown up by the wind  and Catherine was feeling uncomfortable in the middle of the road .Robert noticed her uncomfortable face and took off his   bandana measuring the size of her hips asking her to put on to control the dress getting up blown by the wind  and placed his hand to her bleeding wound on head to stop the blood .She got nervous to his caring personality and did as she was  asked  to do . Robert was amused to see his headband fitting to her hips .After a short wait , his bodyguard brought the car and Robert took her to his home to get her wound treated  . Meanwhile, Catherine noticed his injured hand while he was driving  ,shocked and surprised "uh! Your ...your hand .Don't tell me it was you who rescued me from those criminals last time ? Did you ? " Robert acted calm and gave her a stare that'll shut her mouth up for a lifetime ,and said   "I don't go around helping ladies . I helped you tonight because I wanted you to realize you're the real leech and not me . Okay ?"  . Catherine thought maybe it's just an another coincidental accident and stopped bringing back the topic .Some curiosity was on Robert's mind why Catherine haven't shouted calling  her parents  instead her friends during her horror accident but he haven't asked her for he sensed something might be the reason .
