CHAPTER 2 : A kiss of Fate .

 Robert's music volume was on another level beating the ears  of everyone around  to chase off the talkative girls near his gate. Among the girls was none other than Catherine and her gang . They were coming back from shopping to their homes but broke their car in a halfway and to an unfortunate, rght in the middle of the street stood a wonderful apartment of Robert  which he got disturbed to their noisy talks . Robert could still hear the talks even with his loudest music and since he's a peace loving person ,he couldn't stand the noise from both side so he turned off his music instead . "Ahhh! Girls!! " Murmuring in his room with his ears covered with both hands . He opened his window to shut the noisy talks and laughs of the girls . "Hello ladies! I hate gibberish noises .Would you mind talking somewhere else and not here!? "  He requested them with a mainly tone . The girls were stunned and surprised to see an incredibly handsome man stopping their noises out of nowhere .They got lured and took their eyes out to  his cool physical and handsome face , started to hide themselves except Catherine . Robert was surprised to see all the girls getting embarrassed and running away from his view besides Catherine .She stood there looking up to his window with a fury mood  shouting "do you own this street!? No one is complaining and why you ? Are you doing some medidiation? Huh!?  You scumbag." Her fury mood was ineffective to Robert .She looked cute and pretty with her hands on her hips looking like the dwarfs from snow-white . Robert smirked seeing her funny posture ,teasing her  "you look like  a mug I just broke this morning" and slam banged his window . Catherine couldn't stop venting her anger on Robert while her friends were peeping at Robert from the corner out of charm . One of Catherine's friend consoled her to stop bragging and head back home but she still couldn't take his insult and shouted to his window "you  just look like a  leech that makes everyone go disgusted !" And head back home with her friends in a fury mood . Robert heard what she said from his room and laughed alone naming her "a mug" . Catherine reached home  late with a frowning face and ran straight to her room to  have a nap for she got an interview for journalism tomorrow. Robert slept off in peace after shooing away the loudspeaker girls . Catherine woke up in a bad mood still thinking about Robert's insult and blabbing herself "if only that guy was near me ,I would've choked him to death .Ahh! I want to strangle him ! " and  she went down to kitchen still blabbering for breakfast but to her surprise ,her parents were having a small meeting  downstairs discussing to attack the biggest company of journalism in the town which belonged to Robert's grandmother ,the one he's recently ruling . She heard their talks and was disappointed to her parents for their unpleasant threat  .Also  ,she isn't aware nor she knew  Robert ... the man she just had a catfight was the boss of the company . She  jumped in to their meeting out of vex .

 "Mom ! Dad! I'm very much disappointed in  both of you despite the fact that our company is powerful enough . Is this what you're teaching your daughter ? Other parents are working with sweat and tears just to make sure their children are happy with what they can afford , to make sure they raise them right .And see , what I am witnessing in my own home! I am disgusted ". 

She ran back to her room loaded with tears for she know , someday the truth will be out about her parents dirty politics  by the world and that made her sick and worried.  Catherine's mother ran up to her to make up some lies but she locked her room from inside sobbing.  "Cath ! Open the door my baby .Mom will explain it to you . Please open!" She felt betrayed by her parents and decided to cancel her interview .

Robert was in his office making sure all the candidates for interview was present there .But one was absent  and that happened to be Catherine . He asked his assistant why the lady haven't showed up yet ,and he  neither have any idea that it was the lady he just insulted the night before . He ordered his staffs  "give a final call to that lady who's not showing up to the interview today ... and if she's a minute late, strike off her name from the list " and went back to his desk with a cool attitude . The news came from his  assistant after some few minutes "sir, we just contacted her and she asked us to cancel the interview ."

  Robert was fussed "these people ! If that girl was planning to cancel an interview like this ,she should've informed us earlier .we are loosing one seat for free !  Arghh! Start away the interview ."  He was tired with workloads  "it's hard to be a boss at this young age .No wonder , grandma became weak because of this ."  Tapping his face out of headache . Meanwhile , Catherine was laying on her bed feeling betrayed and regretting for cancelling his interview ...she decided to go out for a fresh walk to the  ice cream store nearby .It was around 6:00 p.m late and Robert was returning  back from his office . He also stopped near the ice cream store to have a cup of cold chocolate coffee for relieving his stress . As he unbolt the door of the store , he saw Catherine sitting there having a scoup of ice cream all alone . Robert gave a cool smirk on his face gazing  at her pretty face ,which angered Catherine again .She was on her rough dress and Robert was handsomely standing  tall with his full suit and tie .
