C Done struggling to finish my meal, I stood up so fast that my chair almost fell backward. I didn’t care. The food sat heavy in my stomach, and Sophie’s words replayed in my head like a song I couldn’t shake off. Prepare your mind for tomorrow. What did she mean? Why tomorrow? Why me?
