Jack The moment I walked into my office, I felt the weight of the entire day press on my shoulders like a mountain. My head was still spinning with everything that had happened. I wanted peace, but peace seemed to run from me these days. The door closed behind me with a faint click, and I just stood there for a moment, staring at the wide room that had always given me comfort.
