Chapter4: The Arrival Of Daniel Davis

*The Governor Villa*

A day to the event Mrs.. Davis ordered her maids to prepared different new special meals because her son will be back that day.

It was news everywhere that the governor's son Daniel Davis will be present at the LAVIDA-S event.

A lot of ladies were crushing on him. He's 25years of age. About 6.45ft tall, with black short hair and eyes color blue. His slim. Lia wore a comfortable T-shirt and also paint that has a boyish look, with Allinone sneakers, then bundle her hair back.

She picked up her car key and went straight to the living room.

"Hi mom, I will be going to the airport now" Lia

told Mrs. Davis while standing in front of her

"Don't worry I will be the one picking him up" Mrs. Davis replied, she was sitting on a couch holding a small coffee mug sipping it slowly.

"Sweetheart, you don't have to pick him up allow Lia to do that" Governor said this while coming down from the stairs, prepared for office, and holding his briefcase. He pecks his wife from the back and leaves to his office.

"How many times will I told you that; You're a mistake to this family. You know what? our tomorrow event, I want you to look more presentable" Mrs. Davis said, then rolled her eyeballs at Lia then continue sipping her coffee.

Lia left the living room angrily.

After Mrs. Davis get dressed, she called her P.A "Binto!"

"Yes ma'am" Binto replied

"Let go, we're going to the airport"

"Okay, ma'am."

While approaching the airport Binto asked Mrs. Davis "Ma'am, why is it that everywhere is full of beautiful ladies?"

"Maybe you should get down and asked them"

"Sorry, Ma'am."

*Manila Airport*

Mrs. Davis was so surprised seeing some ladies holding a cardboard that read "Daniel Davis welcome back" After stepping out from her car.

"Ma'am look at all these ladies they are waiting for sir Daniel," Binto said looking restless

"I can't believe these! Do you ladies want to kidnap my son?. Guards! arrest them all" Mrs. Davis said angrily.

All those ladies ran away, Mrs Davis was shouting telling her guards "make sure you catch them all".

Daniel was holding a beautiful lady's hand and walking towards where his mom was standing.

"Hey mom," Daniel said, then hug and peck he's mom.

"My darling Daniel, have missed you so much" Mrs. Davis replied Daniel with excitement writing all over her face.

"And who is this? ooh my! this is Sarah Mill's the daughter of Mill's Magazine, oh my god! hug me darling" Sarah hugs Mrs.. Davis and peck her. They all get into the car and drive home.

Ella and her friends left work to hide very close to Governor villa because they want to witness the arrival of Daniel.

"Ella, look! that is your prince charming, his back" Marry told Ella, when Mrs.. Davis car was about to drive inside her compound.

Daniel gets down from the car asked his mom and girlfriend to go inside."Why, where are you going?" Mrs. Davis asked then ran after him, while he was going outside the gate.

"Hey, Ella, Samantha let go now, the prince charming is coming, let run," Mary said to her friends while trying to run away from where they hide.

"Hey stop the three of you!" Daniel stops Ella and her friends.

"Oh my gosh! what are you three doing here?" Mrs. Davis was so shocked when she saw that it was Ella and her friends.

"Mom, did you know them?"

"Yes I do, I helped them but don't know why they're here"

"Besides they might be a thief"

"Oh Daniel, they're not, the three of you go back to work right now and don't try this again" Mrs. Davis was so serious while telling Ella and her friends.

The three of them left quickly and go back to back work.

"And how did you even know they were here?"

"I sight them, when we were about to drive in, I noticed they were beeping at us"

"Daniel, you need to rest don't stress yourself, let go in."

*Daniel bedroom*

"I love it here, your mom is so nice" Sarah was telling Daniel while she was removing her clothes but Daniel was carried away thinking about how Ella was staring at him as if she has met him before.

"Daniel is talking to get your heart together, what are you thinking?" Sarah was so pissed saying these...

"I'm sorry it just that those girls, one of them was looking at me as if we have met before, the way she smiles and couldn't get off her eyes on me, Is somehow strange"

"Mmmmh, baby you know a lot of ladies are crushing on you, maybe she's also crushing stop thinking about that, there is no way you can know her, she looks poor and dirty."

"Okay, I love you"

"I love you too".

The next day Mrs. Davis has prepared for the event and she went straight to her son's room.

"Good morning Darling"

"Morning mom" Daniel replied, he was putting on his t-shirt and Sarah has already dressed up.

"You should be done darling, our guest is waiting for us"

"Mom why is dad not home yesterday?"

"Don't mind your dad, he's always like that, later now he will bring another bastard home for me to look after"

"Mom, stop please, I haven't seen Lia since I came back"

"She might be in her room who knows"

"And she did not bother to check on me? That bad"

"Daniel please meet me in the car" Mrs. Davis peck Daniel and left his room.

After Daniel get dressed he went inside Lia's room she was still sleeping, bottles of wine were on her floor. Daniel calls for the maids to clean up her room then he woke her up slowly.

"Daniel! can't believe this, you're back" Lia said with excitement. "Am sorry I couldn't pick you up" she hugged him again.

"Lia, get up and get the dress I want to see you in that event please" Daniel peck her, on her forehead then leave.

Lia gets down from her bed, open her shelf draw to bring out a picture kiss it and place it on her chest and she said:::i::d: "I miss you mom" she returns the picture then goes straight to her restroom.

*The Event*

Everyone was standing beside there table holding a glass cup of wine, while LAVIDA-S COMPANY models were cat walking putting on the new collections of clothing.

"Hey mom, I love this, good job, and why dad not here yet? I haven't seen him ever since I came back" Daniel said while standing beside his mom.

"Sweetheart your father never has time for us, he always creates time for his bastard daughter" Mrs. Davis was smiling while saying this because she doesn't her mood to be ruin in the midst of her guest.

"Mom, did you fight with dad?"

"This is not the right place to talk about this Daniel, please stop"

"Baby can you change the topic don't ruin your mom's beautiful smile" Sarah talk to Daniel.

While saying this Lia walk in she was putting on; crop tops, high-waisted skirt, ankle boots, mirrored sunglasses, pastel-colored clutches.

Mrs. Davis look at her all through with a disgusting face then said "Always tasteless dress, mmm"

"Mom, don't bring that up, let just focus on the runway please," Daniel told he's mom calmly.

"Heyyy Lia, am so happy you came, ummh I forgot to introduce Sarah to you before I left home now meet Sarah, Sarah this is my only amazing kid sister" Daniels's face was full of excitement while saying this.

Sarah and Lia exchange greeting and hug each other. Ella and her friends were among the wine server at the event.

"Ella go and asked your prince charming maybe he want some wine, go," Mary and Samantha told Ella, the three of them were starring at Daniel holding a tray of wine glass cups.

Ella walked up to where Daniel and his family were standing and she asked "Do you care for more wine please?"

"No please" Sarah replied Ella.

Daniel kept on starring at Ella, Ella couldn't move an inch because she felt tremble with the way Daniel was starring at her, she couldn't take off her eyes also.

Mrs. Davis's's's's wristwatch started sounding out while reading, after Five minutes Daniel and Ella collapsed.
