Chapter Twenty-One: Nick massaged his eyeballs like he was battling an oncoming migraine. “Please, Inga. Not now.” And clutching his pathetic little toolbox, he ran from the room. Inga smiled into her martini. She was right– this was fun. In the living room, Jessie had a jumble of black metal tubes laid out across the carpet. While she held the screwdriver, Nick twisted the nuts, and they quickly had the contraption assembled. Nick turned it on end and positioned it beside the bed. It looked like a coat rack with arms. The computer monitor was bolted into place and the CPU located beneath. Then, from a case, Jessie extracted what looked to be a miniature movie camera with a power cord.
